Virtual Event: Wonder of Water Wednesday - Watershed Maps

Zoom with Valley Water on Wednesdays and learn about your local watersheds as you create and color a 3D map! Engage in this 45 minutes hands-on virtual hands-on activity; presented by the Valley Water Education Outreach Team. Designed for audiences age 10 and above, including adults!

To participate in making the 3D map, you will need a few materials:
• A piece of white paper
• Markers or pens (brown, blue, green, orange, red)
• A tray or plate
• A bowl of water
• A paper towel
The online presentation of the Watershed Maps activity will include a hands-on Next Generation Science Standards engagement in the lesson. Participants will learn about their local watershed and create their own 3D maps.
