More than a library, this 26,000-square-foot building was designed to serve as a cultural institution for the community,complete with a performing arts center, community meeting rooms and displays of public art through the space. The library opened in 1996 and was remodeled in 2016 with the addition of the Legler Benbough Teen IDEA Lab, a technology lab offering training programs and classes for teens ages 12 to 18. The IDEA Lab is designed to provide youth with the opportunity to build 21st century job skills.
