This Spring Break Camp gives your child a chance to explore fine arts along with woodworking and STEAM principles through traditional craft–all at one location! Each day of camp will include fun activities and artist-instruction at San Diego Craft Collective and, our upstairs neighbor, Monart School of Art.

What will kids learn while learning with Monart?
For 6-8 year olds: Campers will create mixed media drawings and paintings inspired by Spring. We’ll introduce a variety of fundamental drawing techniques, in addition to working with various art mediums to create vibrant and colorful works of art!
For 9-12 year olds: Campers will learn how to draw realistically, using the Monart method to break all objects down into elements of shape. These workshops are designed for children of all skill levels!
What will kids learn with San Diego Craft Collective?
For 6-8 year olds: Campers will explore Spring-inspired crafts, blending skills and techniques across mediums. With an emphasis on woodworking, campers will create a fun, high-quality craft to take home! Campers learn tool safety, get acquainted with various woodworking hand tools and techniques, and build confidence through woodcraft!
For 9-12 year olds: Campers will learn about game making and pinball machine building! Using multiple mediums and materials, campers will bring their creative ideas to life in the form of a handmade Pinball Machine! STEAM principles apply at every turn as kids learn to navigate materials to design and construct their own unique interactive games!
For campers who would like an extra dose of woodworking craft each day, from 3-5pm we are offering a Spring Break Art & Craft Camp Woodworking Add-On.
This add-on is availble for Monday – Wednesday, March 31, April 1 & 2, from 3 – 5pm.
