Intro to Knitting Workshop
Come learn the basics and get knitting this Summer! Learn to cast on, knit stitch, cast off, and minor problem-solving in this beginner basics class. In this 2-hour class, you will learn to knit a square that can be a washcloth, or turn it into a plush bunny!
Ages 7+years with an adult, or 12+years welcome!

Learn to Knit this Season!

Come learn the basics to get knitting! We will cover cast on, knit stitch, cast off, and minor problem-solving in this beginner basics class. In this 2-hour class, you will learn to knit a square that can be a washcloth, or turn it into a plush bunny!
All materials are provided. However, if you’re interested in bringing your own needles, we recommend Size 10 (6mm) knitting needles. If bringing yarn, natural fibers in DK or bulky weight work well. And if you’re planning to make your square into a washcloth, cotton yarn works best. Instructor Leslie Valantine will have a fun selection of her own dyed yarns available for purchase at class.
Maybe we can say that supplies are provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own.
