Annual Día de los Muertos Celebration in Chula Vista

Join us on Saturday, November 2nd from 3:00pm to 8:00pm as Downtown Chula Vista transforms into a beautiful and lively, cempasúchil filled celebration for the 4th Annual Día de los Muertos Celebration!

This free community event will include fun for the entire family and is a great way for the community to come together to honor our loved ones that have passed, while still celebrating life. The celebration includes a community ofrenda(altar) at Davidson, an Ofrenda Competition, a Catrín & Catrina Ensemble contest, live music and dance performances at three different locations, car show by Impalas Car Club SD, kids crafts, artisan vendors at El Mercado by Las Jefas Market, treats, delicious food, themed photo ops throughout the neighborhood and more.
Make sure to bring a copy of a photo to pin on the Community Altar at Davidson!
